A beautifully soft and luxurious hand dyed 4ply yarn combining Grade A Mulberry Silk with fluffy Baby Suri Alpaca. The Suri fibres are wrapped around a smooth silk singles core, creating a delicate halo without the use of mohair. The high silk content gives the finished fabric a beautiful drape and subtle sheen, while the Baby Suri adds softness and warmth.

This exquisite yarn works beautifully for lightweight sweaters, cardigans, shawls and accessories where you want a soft, fluffy fabric with plenty of drape. It can be used on its own for an airy fabric or paired with another yarn to add softness, texture and a gentle halo. A lovely option for knitters who enjoy fluffy yarns but prefer an alternative to mohair.

I use acid dyes that result in vibrant permanent colours. I recommend to handwash a ready item in cool water with as little movement as possible for best results. Some colours might bleed at first wash.

Each skein is hand dyed individually, so some variation between skeins is natural, even when they are dyed in the same batch. If using more than one skein in a project, I recommend alternating skeins to blend any differences.
