This is a pre-order for 2021 Halloween yarn advent calendar called "13 days of Samhain"! All calendars will ship in the first week of September, pre-orders will close in early summer.

This is a pre-order for 2021 Halloween yarn advent calendar called "13 days of Samhain"! All calendars will ship in the first week of September, pre-orders will close in early summer.

I offer 3 fantastic yarn bases to choose from. You will be able to use your calendar either for small individual items like socks, hats and mittens or to create larger items like shawls and scarves. It would also work great as an addon for your colourwork projects.

2021 Halloween yarn advent calendar will feature:


A mix of variegated, tonal and speckled colourways
All colourways will be Halloween themed, all unique and not to be repeated
You can expect colourways inspired by Samhain celebration, local Halloween traditions, witchery and dark magic!
Each will be individually wrapped and labelled to open one each day
There will be little extras such as tasty treats, knitting/crochet related notions and more!

VARIATIONS available:


Calendar type:
13 minis: 13 x 20g(0.7oz) mini skeins
13 minis + one: 13 x 20g(0.7oz) mini skeins plus one full skein 100g (3.7oz) in the same yarn base

Yarn base:
Sock yarn: 75% Superwash Merino / 25% nylon in 4ply/fingering weight. Full skein is 400m (437 yards) / 100g (3.5 oz)
BFL fingering: 100% Superwash Bluefaced Leicester in 4ply/fingering weight. Full skein is 400m (437 yards) / 100g (3.5 oz)
SW Merino DK: 100% Superwash Merino in DK weight. Full skein is 225m (246 yds) per 100g (3.5 oz)

Since I dye all calendars to order unfortunately I do not accept cancellations after 72 hours from purchase
I will ship all calendars in the first week of September to allow ample time for them to arrive before mid-October but I cannot fully guarantee shipping times by the post services
Yarn on the photo is for illustration only all colours in the calendar will be completely new
Due to the amount of yarn I will not be able to wind mini skeins into cakes unfortunately
I use acid dyes that result in vibrant permanent colours. I recommend to handwash a ready item in cool water with as little movement as possible for best results. Some colours might bleed at first wash

    I ordered this for my granddaughter's 13th birthday on Halloween. The package arrived in only 5 days from when it was shipped. Since it's a gift and won't be opened until Samhain begins, the owner sent me two photos of her beautiful packaging and the cards she included. Such a very thoughtful thing to do and greatly appreciated! Can't wait for my granddaughter to start opening her gift!

    Such gorgeous and professional packaging for the Halloween yarn advent. I want to stare at it and not open them, though I also want to open them and see the lovely yarn! It took only 5 days from Ireland to California.

    An absolute treat to celebrate a Celtic New Year!

    I absolutely loved all the colourways with the unique stories behind them. I learnt a lot about local traditions and magical creatures. The colourways are captivating! Everything is made and packed with love, with every attention to detail. In addition, little gifts along the way were a pleasant surprise. I love all the sustainable materials used and a custom made Fine Leaf Fibres post cards. I sent them to my closest friends to celebrate Halloween. Thank you for this wonderful calendar and I am looking forward to the 2022 one!
