Baby Alpaca Silk Yak fluff - lace weight - Ready to Ship

This is an exceptionally soft and luxurious lace weight yarn, combining Baby Alpaca, Mulberry Silk, fine Merino Wool and Yak. The blend creates a lightweight fabric with beautiful drape, while the natural fibres provide warmth without making the finished piece feel heavy.
The natural grey tone of the Yak gives this yarn a beautiful depth before it is even dyed, resulting in rich, complex colourways with plenty of dimension. The generous 400 metres per 50g makes it perfect for lightweight sweaters, shawls and accessories. It can also be held double for a heavier fabric or paired with another yarn to add softness, warmth and depth of colour.

How it knits up
This yarn knits into an exceptionally soft and lightweight fabric with beautiful drape and a subtle silky sheen. It can be used on its own for delicate, airy garments and accessories, or held as a second thread alongside another yarn to add softness, warmth, drape and a touch of luxury. It can also be held double for a fuller, heavier fabric.

I use acid dyes that result in vibrant permanent colours. I recommend to handwash a ready item in cool water with as little movement as possible for best results. Some colours might bleed at first wash.
