2023 Halloween yarn advent calendar "13 days of Samhain"

This is a pre-order for our best selling 2023 Halloween yarn advent calendar called “13 days of Samhain”! Hand dyed in Ireland.

We offer 4 fantastic yarn bases to choose from. You will be able to use your calendar to create some unique accessories like socks, hats and mittens or to create larger items like shawls and scarves. It would also work great in a colourwork project be it mosaic, creative fade or fair isle. This hand dyed yarn will work great for knitting, crochet or even weaving!

All calendars will ship in the first week of September, pre-orders will close in early summer.

Our advent calendar will feature:

• A mix of variegated, tonal and speckled colourways
• All colourways will be Halloween themed, all unique and not to be repeated
• You can expect colourways inspired by Samhain celebration, local Halloween traditions, witchery and dark magic! Each colourway will include a little card to learn more about the lore that inspired it
• Each will be individually wrapped and labelled to open one each day
• There will be little extras such as tasty treats, knitting/crochet related notions and more!
• Custom artwork

Full advent will include a full 100g skein and a special crafting gift to get you in the mood for a spooky season! This is in addition to 13 mini skeins and extras.

• 13 minis: 13 x 20g(0.7oz) mini skeins
• 13 minis + 1 full skein + gift: 13 x 20g(0.7oz) mini skeins plus one full skein 100g (3.7oz) in the same yarn base plus a crafting gift!

Yarn base:

• 4ply/Fingering Sock: 75% Superwash Merino / 25% nylon in 4ply/fingering weight. Full skein is  425m (464 yards) / 100g (3.5 oz). This soft smooth yarn features some extra durability and it is ideal for creating lightweight garments, socks, and shawls.
• 4ply/Fingering BFL: 100% Superwash Bluefaced Leicester in 4ply/fingering weight. Full skein is 400m (437 yards) / 100g (3.5 oz). This yarn has a very cozy feeling to it, it is naturally strong and it is perfect for any fingering weight project such as shawls, garments and socks!
• SW Merino DK: 100% Superwash Merino in DK weight. Full skein is 225m (246 yds) per 100g (3.5 oz). This soft plump yarn is ideal for creating a variety of projects, including blankets, scarves, hats, and sweaters.
• DK Sparkle Sock: Superwash 75% merino / 22% nylon /3% silver sparkle. Each skein is 225m (246 yds) per 100g (3.5 oz). With a bit of sparkle it will make a beautiful luxury item
