This is a pre-order for 2021 Christmas yarn advent calendar called "…€œ12 days of Winter Woodland"! All calendars will ship by the first week of November, pre-orders will close in late summer.
I offer 4 fantastic yarn bases to choose from. You will be able to use your calendar either for small individual items like socks, hats and mittens or to create larger items like shawls and scarves. It would also work great as an addon for your colourwork projects.
My theme for this year is Winter Woodland. You can expect colourways inspired by the winter landscapes and woodland creatures, magical Christmas nature and Christmas celebration traditions.
This Christmas yarn advent calendar will feature:
A mix of variegated, tonal and speckled colourways
Each will be individually wrapped and labelled to open one each day
There will be little extras such as tasty treats, knitting/crochet related notions and more!
VARIATIONS available:
Calendar type:
12 minis: 12 x 20g(0.7oz) mini skeins
12 minis + one: 12 x 20g(0.7oz) mini skeins plus one full skein 100g (3.7oz) in the same yarn base
Yarn base:
Sock yarn: 75% Superwash Merino / 25% nylon in 4ply/fingering weight. Full skein is 400m (437 yards) / 100g (3.5 oz)
Sparkle sock yarn: 75% Superwash Merino / 20% nylon / 5% Silver sparkle in 4ply/fingering weight. Full skein is 400m (437 yards) / 100g (3.5 oz)
BFL fingering: 100% Superwash Bluefaced Leicester in 4ply/fingering weight. Full skein is 400m (437 yards) / 100g (3.5 oz)
SW Merino DK: 100% Superwash Merino in DK weight. Full skein is 225m (246 yds) per 100g (3.5 oz)

Since I dye all calendars to order unfortunately I do not accept cancellations after 72 hours from purchase
I will ship all calendars by the first week of November to allow ample time for them to arrive before December but I cannot fully guarantee shipping times by the post services
Yarn on the photo is for illustration only all colours in the calendar will be completely new
Due to the amount of yarn I will not be able to wind mini skeins into cakes unfortunately
I use acid dyes that result in vibrant permanent colours. I recommend to handwash a ready item in cool water with as little movement as possible for best results. Some colours might bleed at first wash.
