Mystery hand dyed yarn in 4ply fingering, DK or Aran worsted weight - dyed to order

Treat yourself to a mystery skein of hand-dyed yarn, created especially for you! Each colourway will be one of a kind and may be variegated or speckled. The photos are for inspiration only, so the skein you receive will be uniquely yours.

IMPORTANT: If you order more than one skein, they will be dyed together in the same colourway and batch, making them suitable for a larger project, unless you request otherwise.

As each skein is hand-dyed, no two skeins will ever be completely identical. Skeins dyed in the same batch will be matched as closely as possible.

Available on the following yarn bases:

• 4ply/Fingering Sock: Superwash 75% merino / 25% nylon. Each skein is 425m (464 yards) / 100g (3.5 oz). This yarn is perfect for socks and for other lighter garments, for example, scarves and shawls.
• 4ply/Fingering BFL Sock High Twist: 80% Superwash Bluefaced Leicester/20% Nylon 365 meters (399yards) per 100g (3.5oz). 4ply/fingering weight. This is a high twist yarn that is very durable with remarkable stitch definition
• 4ply Sparkle Sock: Fibre: 70% Superwash Merino (21 mic), 23% Recycled Nylon, 7% Silver Lurex Length: 400 meters (437 yards)
• DK Sparkle Sock: Fibre: 70% Superwash Merino (21 mic), 23% Recycled Nylon, 7% Silver Lurex Length: 225 meters (246 yards)
• DK SW merino: 100% Superwash merino. Each skein is 225m (246 yds) per 100g (3.5 oz). Warm, smooth and soft yarn that would work so well in hats, scarves, shawls and cardigans. The wool is mulesing free and comes from South America
• DK Baby alpaca cashmere silk: 70% Baby Alpaca, 20% Silk, 10% Cashmere. This is one of the most luxurious yarn blends. Baby Alpaca adds warmth and texture, it is strong and lightweight, where silk adds shiny smooth lustre and cashmere makes it unbelievably soft. It is such a pleasure to craft with it and can truly make a memorable and unique item.
• Aran MCN: 80% Superwash Merino Wool / 10% Cashmere / 10% Nylon. Each skein is 166m (181 yds) per 100g (3.5 oz). This is a luxury squishy yarn that would make a beautiful soft item

I use acid dyes that result in vibrant permanent colours. I recommend to handwash a ready item in cool water with as little movement as possible for best results. Some colours might bleed at first wash.
