Corriedale / Gotland 4ply fingering weight - hand dyed yarn - Ready to Ship

This hand dyed yarn is based on a naturally grey Corriedale and Gotland blend, spun in the UK. The soft grey undertone gives every colourway added depth, creating rich, slightly heathered shades with a quiet sheen that shifts gently in the light.

The fibre combination brings together spring and structure from Corriedale with the subtle halo and lustre of Gotland. The result is a yarn that feels lofty and warm in the hand, with a beautiful drape once knitted. It has a soft, rustic character without being scratchy, making it comfortable next to the skin while still feeling honest and woolly.

In the fabric, stitches look defined but not sharp. Stockinette has a gentle glow, textured patterns stand out naturally, and simple knits feel elevated without extra effort. It’s a lovely choice for lightweight sweaters, cardigans, shawls and everyday accessories where you want warmth, softness and depth of colour in equal measure.

I use acid dyes that result in vibrant permanent colours. I recommend to handwash a ready item in cool water with as little movement as possible for best results. Some colours might bleed at first wash.
