100% Wensleydale DK hand dyed yarn - Ready to Ship

100% Wensleydale yarn dyed in "Chanterelle Season" colourway is a lustrous, long-staple wool known for its exceptional sheen and silky feel. Due to the natural strength and slight drape of Wensleydale fibres, this yarn is ideal for projects that need structure but with a touch of elegance, such as shawls, scarves, and lightweight cardigans. 

It softens beautifully with wear and washing, developing a gentle halo over time. This yarn's natural sheen brings a polished, almost silky look to any project, giving it a unique visual appeal.

With its medium thickness, DK weight is ideal for creating cosy jumpers, cardigans, hats, and scarves that aren’t too bulky but still provide plenty of warmth. This yarn offers excellent stitch definition, making it well-suited for textured patterns, cables, and colourwork.

I use acid dyes that result in vibrant permanent colours. I recommend to handwash a ready item in cool water with as little movement as possible for best results. Some colours might bleed at first wash.
